A good portion of the face is done. Scaling around the eyes is a bit tricky, I feel the individual clay particles would look more natural even smaller right around them, but it is very difficult molding them any smaller than I've been doing.

Group Critique: The scaling is looking wonderful, but reading about your trouble with doing around the eye, may I suggest starting from the tail and working up? A really good friend, and wonderful sculptor told me to do that while I was working on mine. Unfortunately, I had already started around the eyes first.
Also, perhaps you could make the scales larger in the middle, and smaller as they go? I notice they are mostly the same size and it doesn't really look natural.
All that aside though, it is looking really cool. <3 I think he/she is adorable.
